After a hectic day yesterday characterized by scuffles and hot verbal exchanges between some members the Forum for democratic Change meeting ended.
The deputy President of the party in charge of the Eastern Region Salaamu Musumba told journalists that the party adopted a report of the Party’s elders’ committee that investigated claims that there are funds whose source is questionable.
Musumba said that the findings indicated that they money was borrowed from the bank to fund the 2021 elections. She however did not divulge details.

Doreen Nyajura speaks out…..
The deputy mayor of Kampala City, Doreen Nyajura said “, The plan to insult, abuse, blackmail, provoke, and beat up those opposed to Nandala and POA so that we get intimidated and fear to speak out. Insulting, abusing and beating up wont silence me or push me to the Nandala -POA duo”
She said this after being turned away from the FDC NEC meeting at Najjanakumbi where she wanted to access the venue forcefully with her car and escort whose privileges were strip off her so that venues and the meeting is un interrupted. Most of Ssemujjue Nganda Katoga faction did not attend.
What then lies ahead of this for FDC party?
The Katoga group which is backed by Dr, Kizza Besigye Chapa Karuhanga the owner of the Premises at Katoga may have to advise their lieutenants (Ssemujju, Lord mayor Lukwago, Hon Francis Mwijukye, Nyajura, Kaginda, Munyagwa Mugatigwabata etc. to apologize to FDC main or move on to the National Unity Platform (NUP). If this group joins NUP they may be assured of foreign funding which we heard was promised by whites from the west.

The Katoga group is not small because it may have grassroot support as some FDC leaders upcountry worship Dr. Kizza Besigye the Party’s founding President. That is why most district bosses (FDC) refused to conduct Party grassroots elections recently.

“They look to Besigye the way some NRM supporters look to Museveni. So the battle ranges on in FDC and the Katoga group may split to NUP” a source said.
