God’s people should pray for President Ruto because his being in leadership in Kenya together with his deputy who have chosen to identify with the Lord Jesus is a unique thing that the universal church should not take it lightly-Bishop George Oduch
In reference to the curse that Bishop Margaret Wanjiru has uttered against President William Ruto, his deputy and their families the scriptures has this to say:
“As the bird by wandering, as the swallow by flying, So the curse causeless shall not come.”
Proverbs 26:2 KJV
In addition, scripture warns us not to be on the side which is against the law:

“Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: for he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake. For this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God’s ministers, attending continually upon this very thing. Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.”
Romans 13:1-7 KJV
At the same time, it is important to note that Bp. Margaret Wanjiru joined active politics. I hope she never learnt from the political arena to do things from under the table like some politicians like doing. We really don’t know the circumstances involved. Security forces have their bosses whom they take orders from, and in addition they have the right to make their own personal appreciation while on the ground and you cannot hold the President and Vice President responsible for an incident simply because they are in office as president and vice-president.

Otherwise, you know a believer by the fact that they are never ashamed of their Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ irrespective of their ranks. President William Ruto has demonstrated that even before he became President and has continued to do so as President. I believe that President Ruto is a believer having faith in Christ just as we do and has the same Holy Spirit, we all have and the same seal and commission through baptism that seals all of us who are in Christ.
God’s people should pray for President Ruto because his being in leadership in Kenya together with his deputy who have chosen to identify with the Lord Jesus is a unique thing that the universal church should not take it lightly. It is not only good for Kenya but is a key factor in what God is doing now in Africa and the world. That is why we should also pray for Kenya as a nation to fulfill her prophetic destiny in this season.
Many in the church have not understood what the oneness of believers in Christ means.
If President William Ruto was of another religion, most believers in Kenya who are against him now would not utter curses and say evil things against him.
Unless otherwise, I believe that the good Lord will turn the curses against President William Ruto and his deputy to blessings as scriptures attests:
“Nevertheless, the LORD thy God would not hearken unto Balaam; but the LORD thy God turned the curse into a blessing unto thee, because the LORD thy God loved thee.” Deuteronomy 23:5 KJV
Shalom.
