This church like many Pentecostal churches globally started in a very humble way and the senior Pastor Dr. Kayongo will on Sunday during a special thanksgiving service share the moving testimony of their humble beginnings.

But briefly what he has shared before, the first church structure which was made of papyrus and some old wood because it was weak and old and because of poverty broke down. Do you when a church structure breaks down what it means?

According to Dr. Kayongo he decided to take time off to ask God if he had been called to the ministry and specifically to start and Pastor a church in Nsangi and God assured him he had been called but had to walk through hard times as God prepared him for great service and ministry.
