Community Barazas and Municipal MDD Competitions
In a related development, the Office of the RDC in partnership with the CAO’s office convened a Community Dialogue (Baraza) on public service delivery at the Kakanju Sub-County headquarters. The ongoing district-wide barazas are designed to strengthen grassroots accountability, address civic grievances, and improve service delivery across local government sectors.

Meanwhile, colorful celebrations filled Bushenyi Town School as primary schools gathered for the Bushenyi-Ishaka Municipality Music, Dance, and Drama (MDD) competitions.

The annual co-curricular event attracted at least seven primary schools, including Parental Care Nursery and Primary School Bushenyi, St. Kagwa Primary School, Kyeitembe Model Day and Boarding Primary School, and the host institution, Bushenyi Town School. The municipal competitions were sponsored by the Presidential Initiative on Banana Industrial Development (PIBID) / Tooke.
