Jacklyn Jolly Tukamushaba has declared interest to un seat Calorine Kamusime to take the Rukiga Woman Member of Parliament seat come 2026.
She is reportedly on ground consulting voters and her profile being shared on social media.
Who is Jacklyn Jolly Tukamushaba?
Jacklyn Jolly Tukamushaba is an Accountant born in Kigara B village, Kamwezi Subcounty, Rukiga District
she went to Kamwezi Primary school, St Theresa S.S.S, National Teachers College Kabale, Makerere University for Bachelor of Commerce, pursuing Masters in Business Administration at Uganda Marty’s University Nkozi.
She taught at Kamwezi High School, Bwizibwera Tropical Academy before Joining World Vision Rukiga Area Development Program as  a Financial Accountant . (2001-2015).
Tukamushaba is currently working as a Finance and Administration officer with Community Efforts for Child Empowerment supported by Child Fund.
Her contribution to Rukiga district;
She has contributed a lot towards Youth and Women Empowerment in Rukiga District.
She has supported vulnerable children with scholastic materials, spearheaded the rewarding of teachers whose pupils scored distinctions, has empowered women groups with petty trade startup capital and supports Faith Based Initiatives and youth skilling.
Beside Tukamushaba, another powerful woman and a Dr. who works in Kampala in a huge corporate organization has also declared interest for the same seat. Is Kamusiime safe?
