Three people have died and four others are fighting for their lives following an accident at Mabira which occurred yesterday at Rwankima.
The according to Police, the accident involved four vehicles; .UBL 490W Toyota Hiace driven by Hiisa Fred, UBL 372V Toyota Wish driven by Owore Joseph, UBG 016Y Fuso fighter driven by Patrick Buyinza and UBJ 811L Isuzu Elifu driven by Ngobi Jamil.

It’s alleged that the motor vehicle UBL 490W Toyota Hiace was coming from the direction of Jinja heading to Kampala when it over took on the climbing lane and collided with MV Registration number UBG 016Y Fuso fighter which was from the opposite direction.
The Police adds “the Fuso lost control and rammed into two other vehicles UBL 372V Toyota Wish and UBJ 811L Isuzu Elifu.
Three people died at the scene and these have been identified as; Apio Perepetawa 25yrs, Ochola Lawrence and a three-year-old girl whose particulars are still unknown” ASP Helen  Butoto  said.
Butoto the Police Public Relations officer for Ssezibwa region said meanwhile, four victims were identified as; Owere Joseph M/A 33yrs, Ofwata Steven, Okello Christopher M/A 42yrs, and another unidentified person were rushed to Mulago.
The vehicles have been towed to Mabira Police Station and the bodies of the deceased are at Kawolo hospital Mortuary as investigations are underway.
