Tooro and the country at large have received the disturbing news about the death of melodic singer, Araali Kigambo Moses. It is quite absurd losing such a n important, educative, cultural and entertaining singer whose music was not just entertainment but would always be packaged with a relevant message to the listeners.
Sadly, the allegations about what surrounded his last moments in life at Fort Portal Regional Referral Hospital leaves a lot for us to desire. Had he been attended to on time, perhaps his life would have been saved. We highly condemn the negligence the hospital and call for intervention from the Ministry of Health, area political leaders and all stake holders. The matter should be investigated and action taken upon the staff that will be implicated. Many lives have been lost in that hospital and other government facilities due to laziness, negligence, corruption and lack of proper monitoring. Clients are even asked to buy gloves and other equipment to use or else the medics just watch them as they suffer with their health conditions. At times in the long run some lose their lives or end up going back home unattended to. Those who receive medical attention are diagnosed but asked to buy medicine from pharmacies, claiming that it’s out of stock at the hospital. This is very unfortunate for our regional referral hospital!!

Araali Kigambo’s case has gone viral because he was a public figure but there are many citezens who have been victims of the same. For how long shall we keep in such an appalling situation? Alas!! Alas!!
The hospital administration should be fired or face disciplinary action if it can’t manage our dear hospital.
As a region, we shall take impactful action if this referral hospital is not brought to order. The general public doesn’t surely deserve this and is bitter about the surging cases at the hospital.

Great thanks to the State Minister of Health for the positive intervention about the hospital services which are wanting and demanding accountability. We request for the best services at the government facility.
We pray that God grants our fallen hero’s soul eternal peace. His legacy shall stay forever.
