Magara Darious the Managing editor of Eastafricanwarch.net caught up with Dan Matsiko Malcom the President of the National Thinkers Party Uganda in a Q&A exclusive interview. Below are the details.
1.What is your comment on the Karamoja Iron sheets scandal in Uganda?
Iron sheets were not stolen but misallocated or used to prepare fertile political grounds for the implicated ministers ahead of 2026. It has been happening or been a modus operandi for this regime of NRA / NRM. There is nothing new but just confusion and maladministration at their best here in this country.
2.What do you think about the homosexuality bill being debated in Uganda by the Parliament?
I am on record for telling promoters and funders of LGBT that I am an African. And a proud Ugandan married man with 5 children , a very staunch believer in the basic family unit . Man and woman producing children to respond to the biblical command of God. I was personally sired by Alfred Batesaki (RIP)and Joy Sanyu Batesaki (RIP) who were officially married in 1962 , living husband and wife in a family setting in ancestral home Garwooma Bushenyi district . I am their sixth child out 10 children. Therefore to your question my answer is an obvious strong NO in capital letters to homosexuality in the Uganda of yesterday, today and tomorrow plus for generations to come.
3.What do you comment on the rising commodity prices in Uganda?
Resist unfair taxes in this economic meltdown. Resist from being lured into taking high interest loans from loan sharks. Resist living outside your economic muscle. Cut of luxury commodities in your consumption habits. Opposition leaders should pause and first understand the socio-economic engineering of Ugandans. Let them go back to the drawing board and devise solutions that work within the Ugandan context not textbook solutions that are alien to us Africans and Ugandans in particular. I offer myself free of charge to give guidance in that regard. National Thinkers party was started primarily to address such challenges the country is currently grappling with. - What do you comment on former USA President: Donald Trump cases he faces
Donald Trump is the best politician Americans should return to the White House. Remember he was a no-nonsense President. He was only cheated in the polls that saw his opponents enter the white house. Trump regime had no major destructive wars. He is on record for calling a spade a spade not the hypocrisy we see around day in day out, Trump is very popular not only in the States but in Africa and Uganda to be precise. His campaign political regalia of making America great Again are on sale in Kampala shops, street vendors on Northern by pass and even Nairobi in Kenya. Trump will be President Again when the vote thieves retire come next presidential elections in America. Trump is indispensable to say the least here. African regime should stop the common mockery of electoral democracy if they want to learn from America. Stop the hypocrisy and paranoia in Uganda and Africa in general.
5.What are your comments on the on going un rest and conflict in the Gaza area(Palestine and Israel)?
The clashes in the Middle East, especially Israeli military against Palestinians . Our position is that Israel should stop undermining the people of Palestine. The new government of Benjamin Netanyahu is continuing to live in self-denial. The government he leads is being backed by the current Biden administration in the United States of America. From day one, read or listen to his very first speech, Joseph Biden talked of use of force meaning war. Its therefore right to say that the current President of United States is a certified war monger.
6.And what are your comments on the Russian- Ukraine war or Russian Invasion of Ukraine?
The war in Ukraine was not necessary at all but President Biden failed to bring both the Russian President and the Ukraine president to a round table peace agreement. He opted to support Zelensky against powerful Putin. Ukraine is in complete ruin as we speak and write now.
Secondly Trump as a president preferred diplomacy against war, Trump had several talks with China leaders over controversial issues and was always willing to put peace ahead of his government policies. He had historic peace talks with North Korean leader, Donald Trump ‘s administration valued human lives but the current administration in the States is consumed with using force to solve global challenges. In that case the Biden administration is more of a war monger leadership than peace making in the world.
Donald Trump scored highly on America’s foreign and domestic policy. He is still a huge threat to current the administration hence the tramped-up charges against him to belittle and demean him before the American voters come next presidential elections in America.
In conclusion, the ruling party in USA is putting the economy of America first by ensuring there is turbulence in many parts of the world precisely to sell weapons to such war-torn countries. By selling weaponry they are getting in the required dollars to keep the economy of America superb at the expense of global human lives. Hence the war mongers don’t treasure peace but chaos in Europe, Ukraine versus Russian power, The middle East , Palestinian communities against Israel military power. Africa , in DRC , we see a huge hand of external influence in the attempts to destabilize the country. In South Sudan we know the sponsors of chaos between the President and his former Vice president Machar. In Khartoum , the chaos is also sponsored by foreign countries. Research shows America is supporting the military general in state house against his deputy who in turn is supported by foreign countries to simply create animosity fertile to ensure American weapons are brought and Africans kill one another endlessly. When will the Biden administration prioritize peace against destructive violence in this day and age? Is it the policy of Democrats of America globally to make other nations unstable. Obama administration destroyed Libya and killed an African President Col Gadaffi . When Donald Trump came in as President, Africa was beginning to talk peace with a few skirmishes in North and West Africa of majorly coups. Most of those military coups were bloodless but currently we see useless violence in many parts of the world. Who are the chief sponsors? In Ukraine, middle East, DRC , Sudan and other countries in the world? America must revisit her foreign policy especially under the Biden democratic party administration.
