Businessman Andrew Kananura Kansiime aka Desh the Chief Executive officer of Panamera Holdings participates in the Ugandan national cleaning exercise.
The bubbly businessman known for his patriotism he mobilized his vintage and exclusive rides auto mobile garage squad and some of his neighbors around the Naguru, Sandler way vicinity to diligently honor the exercise.
Speaking to the Press today he called upon Ugandans to love their country and participate in the national cleaning days and to support all government programs to fight poverty and backwardness.
Known for his crisp neat life style and availing all the necessary cleaning sundries like brooms and shovels, Desh, fully interested himself in the exercise by personally leading the way by sweeping.
“I appeal to all Ugandans of all walks of life to support the national cleaning exercise and to support all government programs for development.
I pledge to lead by example to clean in Naguru and to support my friends and staffs to engage in the exercise, why this is for our good” he added.
He said the national cleaning exercise encourages cleanness and encourages a culture of cleanness among the young generation, which are pivotal in fostering good health and development.
“A healthy population can always be productive, and we would use the resources spent on health care to infrastructural development of the country” Mr. Kananura added.
It should be noted that the Government declared the last Saturday of every month as National Cleaning Day and was launched by launched by H.E. Vice President Jessica Alupo, on 25 July 2026, in Kisenyi, Kampala.
The exercise was then fully supervised and championed by the Prime Minister Rt Hon. Robinah Nabbanja and other government ministers.
Mr. Kananura said he is happy with President Museveni and the NRM government programs which are aimed at fighting poverty, disease and underdevelopment.
