California River of Life University yesterday ordained 34 Pastors in Uganda. The ordained ministers add to over 100 students that graduated from the University in Divinity studies last week at Nsangi Christian Fellowship Church auditorium.
The ordination ceremony was conducted by the University President Dr. Jin Kim assisted by Dr. Stephen Kayongo and other ministers of God. Prof. Mi Kim wife to Dr. Kim was on the ordination team.
Dr. Kim reminded the ordained pastors to go forward without fear to serve God in power expecting to see signs, wonders and miracles in their ministries since that is a biblical and standing promise of God which Christians read and believe in from God’s word – Bible.
He advised them to use the knowledge they have acquired in the University and ordination training before they were ordained to be confident and radiant in God’s spirit to serve God.
He however also strongly advised them and the Uganda Christian leaders to be Holy saying that God is Holy and loves to worker with ministers who are Holy.
“Try not to accept to get tired of salvation and God’s calling and ministry, if need be go to Wamala Prayer Mountain (our prayer mountain) and refill with prayers and fasting to serve God as need arise,”.
Try in your life as a minister as we have trained you not to make mistakes, they may not only affect ones anointing but also their reputation and they may hurt the church of Christ” Dr. Kim said.
The President said the prayer mountain is free and open to ministers to go for prayers to seek God. He advised them work and reach Dr. Kayongo and his team that runs the Prayer Mountain which will be commissioned mid next week.
Dr. Kayongo Stephen in his speech advised the ministers to be humble and to continuously seek knowledge. Dr Kayongo who is the founder and senior Pastor of Nsangi Christian Fellowship said humility has been key in his life as God raised him from poverty to a good life but that he has remained a humble vessel of God.
This is the second batch of ministers to be ordained by the University in Uganda, the first batch was ordained at the same venue last year after the inaugural and mega graduation ceremony of California River of University in Uganda. California was founded by Dr. Kim and it has headquarters in California USA with branch campuses in Asia and Africa in Uganda, Sudan and Nigeria.
