As Uganda prepares for national elections, an NRM leader Hakim Kyeswa and the Central Executive Committee (CEC) leadership aspirant has appealed to Ugandans to participate in elections with responsibility and shape Uganda’s future.

Speaking to NRM Party supporters in Kampala recently made emphasis on civic responsibility and appealed to all Ugandans to participate in elections and to vote capable leaders.

Kyeswa is aspiring for the NRM Vice chairperson seat of the central region of Uganda (Buganda).

“Democracy and development go hand in hand so it is important to participate in elections with responsibility” Kyeswa said.

A great Mobiliser, Kyeswa said the local leaderships should sensitise the people on participating at all stages of the NRM electoral road map so that they vote responsible and able leaders.

Mr. Kyeswa

He also said that since NRM party and government led by President Museveni has made great economic and social development it is key that the achievements are well highlighted to the locals so that they support the NRM government for steady and continued economic progress.

“We should not only share the achievements of the NRM government but the on-going economic programs so that the locals can take advantage of them to fight poverty” he added.

He said leadership is not only confined in being an MP, but that we have leadership from LC1 to the President and therefore asked the leaders and locals to elect capable people to support the entire leadership chain.
