The details of the Vice President’s earnings are specified in the Act’s Third Schedule.

Reports indicate that the Vice President receives an annual salary of approximately 59,398,900 Ugandan shillings, translating to around 4,949,908 UGX per month.

In addition to her salary, she is entitled to several benefits aimed at facilitating her official duties. These include full-time security protection with bodyguards, a chauffeur-driven government vehicle, and access to periodic vehicle replacements.

Medical expenses for both the Vice President and her family are fully covered, ensuring they receive top-tier healthcare. She is also provided with an official residence, and if needed, may receive a housing allowance.
