The above statement was written by Pierre Mbabazi some time back. He had called for fasting and prayers so that the judgment on his case would be delivered.
At least the latest we got from court is that judgment will be issued next month.
The clerk to Justice Sekaanna today also said that the stakeholders in the case should stay calm waiting for the judgment to be issued on notice next month.
She explained that the ruling was not given on the first earlier date since the Judge was busy.
“The stakeholders in the case should be calm the judgment will be sent to their emails” she said.

The Clerk talked to our reporter this afternoon at Tweed towers.
The Church of Uganda side has been tightlipped on the case with no one commenting on the matter and their fate as Bishop Gad Akajuna’s appointment hangs in balance. But at least again what is known is that the judgment can take any side either against the Diocese or in its favour.
Some time back Mbabazi went to court seeking an order that would order the church of Uganda top leadership organ to hear his petition in which he challenges the appointment of Akajuna over lack of requisite academic qualifications to become a Bishop of the church of Uganda.
Has Kabale man gone mad against Kigezi Diocese; see why he has declared a 40 days fasting and prayer

According to information in court if Mbabazi secures that order he would put the Church of Uganda Province on pressure since he would force them to the edge as he demands that Akajuna be sacked which has never happened in the history of Church of Uganda to withdraw a sitting Bishop over academic papers.
Our reporter could also not establish what next would be Mbabazi’s next steps incase he lost the application. He has been saying his mission is to cleanse the church of some mafias but has not given exact details. He says their is a ruling cocoon that makes Bishops in Kigezi Diocese and sometimes disregards the best suited for the office.
A surprise Bishop elect for Kigezi Diocese; Venerable Gaddie Akanjuna
But besides academic qualifications, Bishop Akajuna is a robust minister of God, a good preacher and man of God he only faces issues of academic qualifications which the Church of Uganda according to some sources wanted to reduce so that men of God can serve without academic impediments. In our next story we shall give details of the qualifications of a Bishop in the Church of Uganda and their implications to the church.
