Pastor Sora Park (Charis) a visiting Bible teacher from the United States of America (USA) has asked East African Christian leaders to prioritize time of special prayer to God daily.
She said that when leaders commit themselves to God in special prayers regularly, they get opportunity to hear a voice of God even daily.
Speaking on the topic ‘spiritual journey’, Pastor Park (Charis) said through prayer leaders develop intimacy with God which is special to feel loved and near and very close to God our father.
She was today addressing hundreds of leaders from East Africa covering countries of Uganda, Tanzania and Rwanda at Nsangi Christian Fellowship Church in Nsangi, Wakiso district.
Pastor Park called on the leaders to make prayer regular saying that is when they will benefit from it saying that Jesus himself made time to pray alone to the father(God).
She emphasized that ministers can have general prayers with congregations but must also find time alone to speak with God in pray and listen to his voice. Bellow are more photographs of the conference today
Teaching about Mathew chapter 3 verse 17 Pastor Park said as God’s world states that the minister are God’s loved sons.

She also asked the leaders to recite, or pray the lords prayer daily as they make their prayers.( Mathew chapter 6 verse 9-13 and https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matthew%206%3A9-13&version=KJV). Some leaders had abandoned this prayer  thinking that it is religious to recite it daily.
During the seminar the participants were broken into small groups to share what they do in their free time with and for God and most said they read the bible, pray, preach the gospel, share donations to the needy and others do work which is used to generate money to run their families. Others worship, praise and also meditate on God’s word.
She also said that Christians and Christian leaders must have a testimony saying as Jesus disciples, they must emulate him (Christ Jesus) in character and deed.
The three-day conference is hosted by Nsangi Christian fellowship and the Dean of California River of Life University for Africa, Dr. Kayongo Stephen.
Dr. Kayongo who is working with a committed team of Pastors and leaders from the region in organizing the Conference is the founder of Nsangi Christian Fellowship.
