Dr. Jin Kim the President and Founder of California River of Life University has approved 3 campuses in western Uganda.
He approved those study centres/campuses on Tuesday while leading a team of University officials that included Dr. Stephen Kayongo the University academic dean and director for Arica, Dr. Mi Kim the dean for USA and other University officials.
The campuses are at Antikia Pentecostal church, Flames of Fire Church both in Mbarara and another church at Mbirizi.
During his teaching at the Pastors seminar, Dr. Kim asked Pastors to be patient in life and in ministry which will always have challenges but that above all God is faithful to take them through in serving him.
He advised leaders especially Pastors not to bow/kneel to rich church members but to listen to God and implement leadership based on the biblical teachings.
Dr. Kayongo and Dr. Mi advised leaders to mobilize for the University which is a special opportunity for leaders to study divinity from certificate to PHD on scholarships on payment of registration fees which is very affordable.
The host leaders Pastors of Antiokia Pentecostal church Kakoba-Mbarara, Mwebaze Frank and Noah Katushabe said they are ready to support the University campus establishment. They were happy to Host Dr. Kim’s team in Mbarara.
Pastor Magara Darious the team leader of Antiokia Pentecostal churches in Uganda advised leaders and Christians in western Uganda to grab the chance to join the university to enhance their leadership and ministry skills.
Pastor Davis Arijuna the head of Flames of Fire Church Mbarara town also said he is mobilizing students to join the University.
Dr. Kim has been in the country since last week and has officiated on the graduation and ordination ceremonies.
He also commissioned a prayer centre at Wamala in Mityana district near the lake. He bought the land for the prayer centre recently and urged leaders to use it for spiritual renewal with God.
Dr. Kim who is based in California in USA where the University has its headquarters. He has also been a pastor since his youthful days and he has blessed pastors in Uganda praying and administered special deliverance services and counselling ministries.
