Recently NRM leaders in Kisoro held elections for the mainstream and some seats were filled harmoniously, leaving the finance slot unfilled due to disagreements.

The slot for finance remained vacant as both candidates; Joachim Hashakimana & Sentoki Joseph, claimed victory as well as accusing each other of fraud.
Joachim Hashakimana got 375 & Sentoki Joseph got 370.
The drama ensued as both candidates celebrated victory.
Sentoki Joseph protested against the results.
Meanwhile, the NRM elections officer Thadeo Mujambere said that they consider the majority.
“Sentoki’s agent has 370, Joachim’s agent has 375 & my own (Nelson & Dan) have 375, therefore the winner is that one having 375”-Thadeo
Taddeo, however, noted that the dissatisfied candidate may approach their officer for the settlement of the matter.
Dr. Mateke beat the young man Hon Kamara. Mateke remains the King of Kisoro and Bafumbira.
