The Rubanda District Resident Commission Mr Peter Rwakifari Kibondo has called upon the public to say in peace, avoid any act of violence during this x mass festival season.
Speaking to our reporter in His office, RDC Rwakifari Kibondo urged the public to drink and enjoy responsibly, he added that covid is still there killing people and that they should work not to fall victim of the pandemic.
He further called upon parents and children to prepare their children for schools in January when schools resume on 10th January.
Similarly, the Kabale District Vice chairperson who doubles as the LC5 councilor representing Kahungye and Butanda sub counties in kabale District Mrs. Miria Akakwansa Tugume said that its almost two years since the closure of education Institutions following the Directive of the president.
She added that some youth have joined the boda boda industry and others got married during the lockdown. Miria Akakwansa called upon parents to put God first in everything they do and use police and other relevant offices to report cases of criminality in their area.
