FDC Party Gears Up for Massive Rally in Soroti City Today.

The Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) party is set to launch a massive registration drive in Soroti City on Saturday, 22nd at Arrow Square.

The event is expected to draw a large crowd of supporters and will feature top party leaders.

Recently the FDC party president, Eng. Patrick Oboi Amuriat, with the NEC committee, unveiled the new digital online registration for the roadmap of the 2026 general elections.

FDC party is the first party in Uganda to introduce online digital registration for its members since the world is now advancing digitally.

Sources within FDC say the Saturday rally is aimed urging the party members to embrace the system to qualify as true party members.

According to Party’s Deputy Treasurer also former Soroti City East MP Moses Okia Attan, FDC Party President Patrick Amuriat Oboi and Secretary General Nathan Nandala Mafabi are among the prominent figures scheduled to grace the occasion.

Attan says the rally is part of the party’s efforts to drum up the people of Teso to register with FDC and support all FDC candidates in the upcoming elections.

The FDC party has been gaining momentum in recent weeks, and this rally is expected to further boost its visibility and popularity in the region.

Attan also said that other Issues such as healthcare, education, economic empowerment, and good governance are expected to feature prominently in the speeches and presentations planned for the event.

As the countdown to Saturday continues, all eyes will be on Soroti Arrow Square, where the FDC aims to make a resounding statement in its quest for electoral success.
