The five soldiers from the Presidential Guard Special Forces Command (SFC) who are accused of sharing sensitive security information with neighbouring Rwanda have been remanded by the Makindye-based Army court after their bail application was deferred to a later date.
Lt Alex Kasamula from Makindye military police, Lt Phillip Neville Ankunda, a pilot attached to SFC, Pte Nathan Ndwaine, a flight engineering and maintenance student at Nakasongola Air Defence facility, Pte Moses Asiimwe, an aircraft mechanical engineer and Pte Godfrey Mugabi were jointly arrested by military intelligence officers and police in May 2020.
