Friday Rwamahe attacks Hon Kyatuheire Jacqueline over NRM digital registration

Hon Kyakuhaire

Greetings to Yellow Girl from Kanungu, Hon Kyatuheire Jacqueline, who will spearhead the leadership as head of the Kanungu ICOB Uganda Chapter next week. I commend you on your crisis management skills, as you narrated. Indeed, NTC Kabale was engaged with students, and the place was overcrowded. Although NTC Kabale boasts world-class digital facilities, a modern conference hall, and decent accommodation, utilizing these facilities proved to be a logistical nightmare. Your prompt resolution of this crisis is truly praiseworthy.

However, it is essential to acknowledge that hosting sensitive national political activities, especially in the Kigezi region, requires meticulous planning and sensitivity to avoid exacerbating sectarian tensions. The sectarian tensions in Kigezi have escalated and require concerted efforts from elders to address this deep-seated issue. This is a bitter truth, Yellow Girl.

Take home :it would be prudent to avoid hosting such sensitive national events in a single church or location in Kigezi, which may be perceived as favoring one particular group or “hill” over others, as Banga puts it. This approach will help alleviate concerns of bias and promote a more inclusive neutral environment.

I am compelled to learn how other regions navigated similar scenarios. Your efforts to provide a detailed account of the events are greatly appreciated. Ogambire akabi tiwe abaga akaaresire.

Merry Christmas and a happy New Year 2025.
