Hon. Joseph Mutebile has pledged to redeem Kabale Municipality and restore the glory of the National Resistance Movement (NRM).
His vision for Kabale is built on inclusive governance, effective representation, and grassroots development. He is committed to listening to the people’s concerns, consulting with constituents before making decisions, and championing their interests in Parliament.
Speaking to the eastafricanwatch.net reporter this morning, he said Kabale’s glory and the NRM party can be revived in Kabale if people in Kabale vote him as their MP in the next elections.
“Kabale must come back to the NRM and we need to restore our glory by being hard working and prosperous.
Kabale is the face of Kigezi region we need to have it in the NRM party and to put Banyakigezi in the money economy” he added.
He added that the government of Uganda is being run by NRM, if you vote opposition when will be brought to the serving table? Let’s get back our town and City to be to the NRM party”.
Hon. Joseph Mutebile, is vying for the Kabale Municipality MP seat in the 2026 elections. He will be contesting on the NRM party ticket and he is working hard to win the flag.
Hon. Joseph Mutebile is a banker and a junior brother of the late Prof. Tumusiime Mutebile who was the Bank of Uganda governor.

Speaking about the lent religious session he said I encourage you to reflect on the importance of loving one another, forgiving each other, and seeking repentance. As the Bible reminds us, “Love your neighbor as yourself” (Mark 12:31) and “Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors” (Matthew 6:12). Let us strive to be the light in the darkness, spreading hope and kindness throughout our community. May this Lenten season be a time of renewal, growth, and transformation for each and every one of us”.
