Hon. Karungi Beatrice Balya is the daughter of Ronnie Balya, a distinguished senior military officer and diplomat currently serving as Uganda’s Ambassador to Sudan. Raised in a family rooted in discipline, patriotism, and public service, she carries forward strong values of leadership, integrity, and dedication to national and regional development.

Who is Hon Karungi;
Hon. Balya Karungi Beatrice Amooti is a prominent Ugandan politician and East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) candidate. A native of Bunyonyi village in Kabarole District, Fort Portal City, she is widely recognized for her campaigns advocating for deeper East African regional integration and grassroots community sensitization.
Political Background;
Karungi initially came into the national spotlight during her campaigns for the Kabarole District Woman Member of Parliament. In recent electoral cycles, she formally declared her bid for Member of Parliament in the EALA to represent Uganda.
