Who are you and where do you work?
I am Lt. Col. (Rtd) Dr. Kato Damiano Abooki.
I AM self-employed after retirement from the army- the mighty UPDF
I hold:
- A Doctorate/PhD development Studies Sociology of Nkumba University,
- Masters of Education Makerere University
- Post Graduate Diploma in Education of Makerere University
- Bachelors of Philosophy Makerere University
Where do you want to contest and why?
- I want contest as an area MP in Busiro North that comprises (NAMAYUMBA, Masuliita and Kakiri)
- The reason I want to contest is service delivery, fostering democracy, patriotism, unity politics, Pana Africanist, agenda equity, support elderly people, improve medical health, offer clean water, support the rural electrification, skilling the youth and unemployed and lobby for government projects for the community and fight poverty and backwardness in Busiro North.
Do you subscribe to any political party? And do you support President Yoweri Museveni?
- I am coming in on an independent ticket
- I do support President Museveni as President and Commander in Chief of the armed Forces. His Leadership follows a Clear Ideology

What do you plan to do for this constituency and why do you think voters should support you?
As my manifesto speaks , I will Place Busiro North to its heights.
People should support me because I am the only alternative that the community has found trust in.
My vibe is high and the local community needs me for Iam down to earth and ready and capable to serve them.
What are the actual problems of this constituency and do you have short term, middle and long-term solutions to solve them?
The problems in the consistency are many as highlighted in the manifesto
- I do have categories of short-term medium- and long-term solutions. I will address them with you in areas of health, infrastructure, education and poverty eradication and good legislation in Parliament and in other oversight roles.
What so far have you given or made for these people?
I am helping them with health camps, I have supported Religious Institutions, schools, youth in sports

I appeal to the Government to come up and develop Busiro North, Support veterans, widows, farmers, traders, construct roads, reduce taxes and improve medical services. People of Goodwill should come up and support the community.
