President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has gifted the newly ordained and installed Bishop of Kabale Catholic Diocese, Rt. Rev. Dr. Bonaventure Bosco Gubazire, a brand-new Toyota Land Cruiser
The vehicle was handed over to Bishop Gubazire by Finance Minister Henry Musasizi, who represented President Museveni during the bishop’s ordination and installation ceremony on October 3, 2026.
Bishop Gubazire was installed as the fifth Bishop of Kabale Diocese, succeeding Rt. Rev. Callist Rubaramira, who retired after 23 years of service. The vehicle is expected to support the new bishop in carrying out his pastoral responsibilities across the diocese.
The vehicle was presented to Bishop Gubazire by the Minister of Finance, Planning and Economic Development, Henry Musasizi, who was accompanied by the Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Rt Hon Thomas Tayebwa.
The presentation was made following Bishop Gubazire’s ordination and installation as the fifth Bishop of Kabale Diocese at St Ignatius University Kabale, IGUKA, in Kabale Municipality.
