Pastor Kayanja also prays for President MuseveniĀ
Dr Joseph Serwadda the Senior Minister of the Victory Christian Center in Uganda has said that Uganda will witness a smooth transition of power from President Yoweri Museveni to another leader soon.
He prayed for President Museveni to start preparing to hand over power to the next leader soon but did not mention who the leader would be and exactly when the transition will take place.
” Some blood thirsty people think they will shed blood as President Museveni exits power; no and no in Jesus name, Uganda will soon witness a smooth power transition from President Museveni to another leader.
In fact we are praying for President Museveni to start preparing to hand over power so that the process goes on smoothly” Dr Serwadda said.
He made the statements while delivering his first sermon at the beginningĀ of 2024 year during prayers he organised at Kyambogo playground which attracted hundreds of faithfuls.
He also prophesied that witch doctors will get problems with Christians in Uganda if they do not repent.
He declared that some witch doctors will even die abruptly as God breaks the power of witchcraft from Uganda and expresses his power with his children.
Dr Joseph Serwadda also prayed for Balookore to financially prosper and that they will expand their influence over Uganda and beyond and will also share the gospel on the globe.
Meanwhile Pastor Robert Kayanja during end of year prayers in the same night prayers at Rubaga Miracle CentreĀ prayed for President Museveni and his family and the government leaders to be well and rule and lead Uganda well.
Pastor Kayanja prayed to God that President Museveni fires the corrupt and wrong leaders from government.
Different churches prayed to God as they welcomed the new year that include Namirembe church of Uganda cathedral.
Pastor Kayanja’s church fire works rocked Kampala among fire works that are characterized of celebrations of welcoming the new year.
Pastors Kayanja and Serwadda prayed and declared that Balookore will financially prosper and that the church will continue to grow and influence and dominate government and society for the glory of God.
Born Again Christians/leadersĀ have have become a religious force in Uganda and usually hold huge end of year prayers where Christians cry to God for life and providence.

Dr Joseph Serwadda is Senior Minister of theĀ Victory Christian Center, one of the mega-denominations in Uganda with over 470 branch churches pioneered across Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya, Rwanda, Sweden, Denmark, USA & UK. The local congregation is 5,000 members strong.

On smooth transition of power, will President Museveni hand over power to Gen Muhoozi or he may hand over to FDC’s Hon Nathan Nandala Mafabi if he wins Presidential elections in 2026?
President Museveni has been in power for sometimeĀ now and he took over by the use of the gun. Ugandans have always wished for a smooth transition of power from one leader to anther and maybe it may happen soon.
