Hon Prossy Akampulira Begumisa Mbabazi,the Rubanda district woman MP attended a Thanksgiving Mass at Karambi Catholic Parish in Mpungu Sub county, Kanungu district where the Parish Priest Rev. Fr Gerald Abena’yezu was celebrating 12 years in priesthood.
Hon Akampurira commended Fr Gerald for his good priesthood work and commitment, for the 12 years he has been serving the Lord, and developmental works in the Parish like the ongoing construction of the new church.
The commissioner contributed 2.5 million shillings cash. towards the construction of the new church at the Parish
Hon Akampulira urged parents to always monitor their children during this long holiday so as they remain disciplined.
Hon Prossy also attended the Thanksgiving Mass of Rev.Fr Apontius Musinguzi in his home in Kishanje parish, Rubanda district.
Fr Musinguzi who is under the Missionaries of Africa was on Thursday ordained a Priest in Rushoka, Ntungamo district Mbarara Archdiocese. She contributed 500.000= towards the thanks giving and 200.000= to the choir that animated the mass.
In her message to the people of Bufundi,Hon Prossy encouraged them to actively participate in government programmes.
Hon Prossy also contributed 500.000= cash to the office of the youths who had a conference at Kacereere Church of .Uganda.
