Pastor Joseph Sserwadda to hold Massive Passover festival; 31st Dec Prayer in Lubowa

The prayers of 31st December 2025 of the Passover festival at Lubowa hosted by Pastor Joseph Sserwadda will be spectacular.

This is because Victory Christian Life Church Ndeeba and those who have prayed with Pastor Joseph Sserwadda for years (end of year prayers) will be celebrating possession of their own land.

What began as a simple vision about 23 years ago, when God spoke to Dr. Joseph Sserwadda to launch what is believed to be the first end of year prayer in Uganda has spread country wide among especially the Pentecostal churches in Uganda and to the Anglican and Roman Catholic churches as well.

Why will this year’s festival be special and spectacular?

Pastor (Dr.) Sserwadda recently secured a 10 acre piece of land in Lubowa, which too is in Wakiso district, just like Namboole where he had been denied to hold the last Passover festival by government for some reasons.

However, the acquisition of the land in Naziba Lubowa village has been greeted with fierce resistance from some of Kampala’s wealthiest and most powerful elites who have palatial residential homes on Lubowa hill where they have been living for decades and it is reported that he had been sued by some of them.

Despite that simple threat, the man of God has cleared the land he acquired and levelled it to host the festival, although it is sort of muddy the Balokore will stamp it and pray and celebrate the achievement of getting a new and permanent spiritual(physical) home.

The activities of the night will include praise and worship, prayers and also sharing of the prophetic messages from Pastor Joseph Sserwadda who leads the Born Again faith in Uganda as a presiding Apostle. He will be working with his dedicated team to serve God’s people.

The theme message is from Deuteronomy chapter 11 verse 24”

Deuteronomy 11:24 is about God’s promise to Israel, giving them possession of the land they’re about to enter. Its saying, “This land is yours, trust me.”

In a spiritual sense, it’s like God saying, “Wherever you step in faith, that’s where my power and promises kick in.”  It’s about trusting God’s presence and promises in new territories or challenges.

So guess what, all roads tomorrow lead to Lubowa for the Passover festival.  what some people have opposed and called a Passover chaos, will be a Passover massive festival.  Happy New Year.
