SUBJECT: CONDOLENCES ON THE PASSING OF HIS MAJESTY OMUKAMA OYO NYIMBA KABAMBA IGURU RUKIDI IV*
It is with profound shock and deep sorrow that the PLU Turkey Chapter has received the news of the passing of His Majesty, the Omukama of Tooro, King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV.
On behalf of all Ugandans living in the Republic of Turkey under the Patriotic League of Uganda, we extend our heartfelt condolences to:
– The Royal Family
– Her Majesty the Queen Mother Best Kemigisa
– The Rt. Hon Prime Minister Calvin Armstrong Rwomiire Akiiki
– The entire Tooro Kingdom and all Batooro worldwide
– The people of Uganda
His Majesty was not just a King, but a symbol of youthful leadership, unity, education, and cultural pride. Crowned at only 3 years old, he carried the crown with grace, wisdom and dignity for 31 years, inspiring a whole generation. His reign shall forever be remembered for promoting education, tourism and youth empowerment.
In this moment of immeasurable loss, we stand with the Kingdom of Tooro in prayer. We call upon all Batooro to remain united, calm and prayerful as guided by the Kingdom.

May the Almighty God grant His soul eternal rest and give strength to the Kingdom as you prepare for continuity of the Crown.
May His Majesty Rest in Eternal Peace.
