California River of Life University (RLU) – Rwenzori Campus is set to officially launch on February 21, 2026, in Kabarole District, marking a significant milestone in the expansion of faith-based higher education in western Uganda.
The official launch ceremony will take place at Kibo Pentecostal Church, Nyamirima Village, Ruteete Sub County, starting at 9:00 AM, according to organizers.
The event will be presided over by Dr. Kayongo Stephen, Director and Academic Dean – Africa, alongside Bishop Moses Odong, National Overseer (NAFBAC).

Expanding Access to Higher Education
The launch of the Rwenzori Campus underscores RLU’s mission of extending academic and leadership training opportunities to communities across Uganda. The new campus is expected to serve students from Kabarole District and neighboring regions seeking faith-based academic programs.
Education stakeholders say the establishment of the campus will strengthen local capacity building and create new opportunities for theological and leadership development within the region.
Community Engagement
Organizers have invited church leaders, community members, prospective students, and education partners to attend the launch ceremony. The event is expected to draw religious leaders, education administrators, and local authorities.
