Rukiga Member of Parliament aspirants for 2026 national elections have showed off their spouses. Alex Magezi Kanuga has shared in social media his wife and Patrick Kiconco Katabazi(ngu ekikyonkyo kya Rukiga) has also showed his wife. Or you can say their friends and supporters have shared photographs of these couples in social media.
Kanuga’s wife is a doctor or medical personnel who is working in South Africa while Katabazi’s wife also works some where in Uganda.
The two aspirants; Kanuga and Katabazi have children and one of the them will win Rukiga’s MP seat in the next elections. The winning guy here, is loaded and is working for the people in Rukiga.
The other aspirants/candidates we do not know their wives!
Mugisha a voter said ” waba oyesibire habwa MP Rukiga kandi otane mukazi ohekye ebare”( that if the other male aspirants for Rukiga MP seat are not married they can carry a stone).
Kanuga is a south Africa based business man while Katabazi is a lawyer and businessman based in Kampala. Katabazi comes from a big family of the late Mzee Katabazi.
