In a recent revelation, media personality Sasha Ferguson sheds light on her decision to maintain silence following a tumultuous breakup with Canary Mugume.
The former couple engaged in public accusations, with Sasha pointing to violence and alcohol issues as reasons for the split, while Canary countered by claiming victim-hood a notion Sasha vehemently refuted.
In a recent social media video, Sasha elaborated on her choice to refrain from further engagement in the public drama. She emphasized the importance of not letting toxic individuals or situations dictate one’s actions.
Stepping away, she argued, is not a sign of weakness but a crucial step in safeguarding one’s mental well-being.
“Whenever you’re dealing with toxic people or you’re in a toxic environment, let these people win,” Sasha Ferguson articulated.

She highlighted that prioritizing mental health over continued conflict is an act of strength, not submission. Protecting one’s sanity, she stressed, should take precedence over succumbing to manipulative tactics.
Describing toxic relationships as insidiously controlling, Sasha underscored how narratives can be distorted, and blame can be unfairly assigned.

She warned against falling into the trap set by such individuals, pointing out that the same behaviors inflicted upon oneself could later be weaponized as ammunition.
But many Ugandans love to see them as one, and they have asked that we appeal to them to unite.
