The Rubanda district woman MP Prossy Akampurira Begumisa Mbabazi has continued to be haunted by the small gods of the her voters.
Few days ago, her voters in Rubanda voiced a concerned in response to a pronouncement where she claimed to have used the Shs400million service award cash obtained from Parliament to empower her voters.
Mp Akampurirclsaid she distributed the allegedly stolen, illegal cash to rural women in Rubanda through her “Prosperous Women Rubanda” program.
Let’s crunch the numbers to reveal the truth.
Rubanda District has *461* villages. If she shared the 400 million equally among them, each village would receive:
400,000,000 Ă· 461 = *868,111* shillings per village.
Yet, she only gave *300,000* shillings per village. Where is the balance?
She claims to have covered all areas of Rubanda, but in reality, she only reached *166 villages.* The total amount she distributed is:
166 villages Ă— 300,000 = *49,800,000* shillings.
So, 400,000,000 – 49,800,000 = *350,200,000* shillings missing. Where is this balance?
If she gave 300,000 shillings per village to cover all 461 villages, she would distribute:
461 Ă— 300,000 = *138,300,000* shillings.
Even then, 400,000,000 – 138,300,000 = *261,700,000* shillings unaccounted for.
She is fabricating lies to justify the theft of that money, but theft is theft. Each village should have received 868,111 shillings, not 300,000.
Where is the rest of the money? Why is she still walking free? It’s time to hold her accountable.
The money was stolen, and she lied to the public. Sharing it among the people isn’t the issue here; it’s about her deceit and corruption.
Numbers don’t lie, and neither should our leaders.
