Several travelers using Entebbe International Airport have taken to social media to express their disappointment with the Uganda Civil Aviation Authority (UCAA) at its failure to fix the potholed roads at the country’s main International entry and exit point.
Mr Alfred Kabuchu, a traveler on Saturday called on the UCAA to fix the potholes and stop bringing shame on the country, “Greetings, Someone responsible enough to feel the shame really needs to fix these potholes at Ebb Airport entrance area. How on earth do we expect millions of visitors and citizens to push trolleys or hassle through this!!”
Agaba Ronald expressed shame at the sight of the potholes at the Airport.
“I’m just leaving the airport with guests, what a shame” he tweeted.
Stephen Musoke – Homo sapiens #aedifex #Xennial @ssmusoke sarcastically said the potholes should be left since they are a major tourist attraction for the country.
“Potholes are a tourist attraction, we were told by one of the Honorables (if you can even call him that) #VisitUganda” he tweeted.
Namara Edison said the ministry of works should wake up and work on the roads in Entebbe and especially at the airport.
Several other travelers said it is a shame to have such roads in Entebbe
