Evangelist/Pastor Muyambi Anthony who is involved in charity and ministry work in Kinaawa, Natete- Kampala talked to Ruth Kimeze in a Q&A interview. Read the details below;
What should born again Christians do in fighting hunger?
I greet you people of God in Jesus name!
As Born-again Christian we have to do the best in the earth to lift the Glory of the Lord in this world because we are believers.
We are looking how we can fight Hunger and Poverty in the world as Born-again Christian and we must be a good example in this world because Bible says whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will repay him for his deed. But even the non-believers can also give to God’s people.
Because our vision is to fight poverty and hunger in the people of God to get good life in the World; together with you we can save lives and helps millions of people find the way to a better life worldwide each of us supporting our communities.
Because million and millions of people have been forcibly displaced from their homes, families struggle to find shelter, others are sick and for them to get enough to eat and to find safe places to rebuild their lives many people will go to bed hungry and more people don’t know where their next meal is coming from.
We ask you to join us to fight Hunger and Poverty in this world and every month we will be going to peoples homes,  the needy to share the gospel and share food which them that which we would have gathered together helping God’s people to have good life in Jesus mighty name.
Where would you like to put more support for the needy?
I have planned to put emphasis of work in Kinaawa where my ministry is based. I also plan to scale up this work to give support to the needy many children and hundreds of families in Jinja district.
Are you married?
l am not married but l am responsible and ready for this work which I will do besides the church work which I am currently doing.
Why should people trust you with their money and resources?
I am God fearing person who is honest and I can put to proper use the monies and resources they trust me and us with for this work. Trust is a product of time and due diligence and I am ready to serve the needy in society given resources to help them and I believe that God will provide for this work.
Who are you?
I am Evangelist Muyambi Anthony from Mbarara – Sheema district but l live in Kampala at Nateete- Kinaawa where I am serving from. l am business man and l am also a Pastor. I am not so educated but by God’s grace I am available and prepared to work and serve God’s people.
Who asked you to do this charity work?
No one but God called me to this vocation. I have a conviction to serve the needy that is why I am mobilizing and appealing to the rich born again or not to give us support to help us to serve God’s people using those resources.
What about billionaire Musk Elon?
I request the rich especially in Uganda to support the needy people either through us or others.  Some people have a lot of money than they could spend. Out of Elon’s 246 billion, he could definitely take a billion off to spend on charity and that can change the face of the world of the needy. If I was a billionaire, I would go down in history for helping people. Like I don’t get it, Elon and Bezos could make great things happen. They could go down in history for not only being the richest people in the world, but also for their generosity. They could make big things happen, not only for their country, but for the world. I don’t understand why they don’t do more. There is a certain amount of wealth this country possesses, and only a few have it all. I think it’s something like 5% of the population hold 95% of the wealth. That doesn’t leave much money down here for the rest of us. This is also why our middle class is disappearing, all the money is being hoarded into a few people’s pockets.
What about Pastor Robert Kayanja and Pastor Natasha?
I want to learn from the footsteps of Pastor Robert Kaynaja the head of Miracle centre Cathedral and Pastor Natasha Museveni Rwabogo they are serving God and helping the needy. We and I love and salute them.
Lastly where can people send you support?
We therefore need good Samaritans, to join us Like we also need Bibles, clothes, food, shoes, sandles, Beddings, Books, sanitary pads, Bags, and many things to reach out to the hungry and needy people in Kampala in Uganda.
