Ugandan pastors and leaders asked to be resilient, humble and dedicated to God’s service

A total of two hundred forty-one (241) California River of Life University students in Uganda today graduated with degrees, diplomas and certificates in divinity.

Dr. Jin Kim the University President and Chancellor asked graduands to be resilient, humble and dedicated to God’s service.

He also advised graduands and ongoing students to be exemplary and harvest non-believers to Jesus’ fold saying trained ministers have to be aggressively involved in evangelism and teaching the body of Christ which is heaven bound.

He spoke by zoom to the graduation ceremony this afternoon that was hosted at Nsangi Christian fellowship church auditorium in Wakiso, Greater Kampala.  He was addressing the congregation from California the headquarters of the University.

The academic Dean and director of California River of Life University Dr. Stephen Kayongo shared the challenges he went through before attracting California River of Life University to Uganda.

He appreciated the University coordinators who have mobilized the students and that now California River of Life University has 23 campuses in Uganda.

Dr. Kayongo urged graduands to go build, train and be great leaders for Christ in their localities and to the world as shining and exemplary trained leaders who will pursue excellence for God.

The graduation ceremony was Presided over by Bishop Moses Odongo the General Overseer of NFBPC who appealed to trained leaders to be good leaders who will implement what they have learned and studied.

Bishop Odongo said they are going to make a memorandum of Understanding with California River of Life University leadership so that they team up and turn their 202 centres in Uganda into campuses of California University.

Graduands

Dr. Kayongo also said that students can still advance in their divinity careers saying the scholarship opportunities are still available.

He also said that the university logo which has a tree in the Bible, graduands should go to their places and plant forests;( Gods plantations and expand their ministries and breath life and transformation to societies and communities for God such that both physical and spiritual developments are achieved.

Bishop Odongo who shared from Colossians 3;23 and Luke 19;42 said Pentecostals believers who feel God has called them should first acquire bible training before starting up churches so that they can perform and serve God better and also asked Christians and Christian leaders to pursue peace.
