Dr. Akampumuza James Rutanga has announced plans to contest the Ndorwa East Member of Parliament seat come 2026 national elections.
He comes to this race with a heavy CV and heart to serve the people of that constituency and the locals may not regret in case they vote him (2026) to represent them in Parliament.
He will most likely defeat the incumbent Wilfred Niwagaba an independent MP whom most voters want out of Parliament because they have missed out on many government programs and projects because Niwagaba is not on the serving table in government. Niwagaba is an opposition MP who has not connected well with the ruling NRM government.
