‘Tired Christian leaders don’t give up’ – Dr. Pastor Kayongo

Are you a struggling Christian leader who is contemplating to give up? I have good news for you, a man of God in Uganda has said that God is about to surprise them.

According to Dr. Pastor Busuulwa Kayongo if these Christian leaders who are struggling in any way keep pushing the work of God, God will soon come in to help them.

“I came from abject poverty and nothing to build this ministry; I only came to Nsangi with a Bible and a Voice of God.

I did not have church premise or even where to sleep but I kept working and pushing and later God showed up”, Dr. Kayongo said.

He said that due to lack of rent he on time slept in the school Library in Nsangi at some small school where he taught. The man of God has just graduated from a teachers training Institute.

Dr. Kayongo said however stressed that the christian leaders only need to be sure that they have been called by God to ministry.

Dr. Kayongo is the senior Pastor of Nsangi Christian Fellow said that God is faithful. During his speech  on Saturday during celebrations to mark 18 years of great service and the existence of Nsangi Christian Fellowship church  is in Wakiso district. Nsangi is along Kampala-Masaka High way.

He shared a moving testimony of how when he had a voice from God to move to Nsangi to start a church and started with virtually nothing but moved on from hardship until God showed up to show the community and the believers in his church that he had actually been called by God.

Dr. Kayongo said he did not pray for a sponsor but asked God to make him a blessing so that he could bless others.

“As we stand now through my friends on the globe we have built 66 churches (physical church buildings in Uganda) I have produced 20 churches and have commissioned over 50 pastors who are serving in several ministries in the country”, he said.

He said God who had helped him will help faithful ministers who are struggling in any war.

The day’s preacher Pastor Jethro-Rock Mubiru who trained Dr. Kayongo in his early years of Ministry asked the older people like him to train the young generation of ministers who will push on God’s work.

He preached from Genesis chapter 5; verses 28 and 29. He said he met and trained Dr.  Kayongo from Bunyoro and later told him to come and start ministry in Kampala.

Pastor Mubiru said before training Dr. Kayongo he learnt that the young minister (Dr. Kayongo) was a son to Rev. Paul Busuulwa and that Rev Busuulwa is an older brother To Prof Simeon Kayiwa.

Rev. Busuulwa advised the Christians to get more committed to God since they have already become born again Christians and to ignore their haters and to focus on those who love and cherish them,  their work and visions since they are many.

Some UPDF soldiers from Bombo town ministered through music. And other UPDF army pastors are among those who have been supported by partners of Dr. Kayongo where a total of 66 churches have been built in Uganda.

Dr. Kayongo is also an international coordinator of Saemaul project in Uganda. Saemaul Undong project in Uganda is implementing development projects between the governments of South Korea and Uganda in Various districts of Uganda.

He (Dr. Kayongo) is also the Director and Dean of California River of Life University in Africa the University which recently established its roots in Uganda and has 9 campuses in Uganda with over 300 students.

Dr. Kayongo said 180 California River of Life University students in Uganda will graduate this September and they have also established other schools.

“My ministry made turning points when I met two international destiny helpers; Missionary Ko and Prof Jin Kim. We have worked together to achieve much.

I pray for you to get destiny helpers so that God will use them to turn you into a blessing to the world” he added.

He also added that other moments in ministry were also key since part of it was when God was building his character and patience and other leadership abilities which all Christians and christian leaders must experience before they can breakthrough.
